Help Us
See What You See.
You do not need a fancy camera setup to learn online. A little preparation just makes it much easier for us to see your project, understand what is happening, and help you troubleshoot in real time.
Think less “professional video studio” and more “make it easy to point the camera at the problem.”
01 / Great Light Helps
Turn on the lights around your workspace and, if possible, put a lamp near the project. We need to be able to see your fabric, stitches, hardware, construction, and whatever strange thing your furniture is doing.
02 / Turn Off Blurred Backgrounds
Virtual backgrounds and background blur can make tools, furniture, fabric, and your hands disappear on camera. A regular messy workshop background is completely fine. We would rather see the project.
03 / A Tripod Is Helpful
A phone stand, tripod, clamp, or anything that lets you reposition your camera can make demonstrations much easier. It does not need to be expensive or sophisticated.
04 / Have Your Project + Tools Ready
Keep the project you are working on nearby along with the tools, materials, machine, fabric, or supplies you expect to use. That way we can spend class time making instead of hunting for things.
05 / Bring a List of Questions
If something has been confusing you all week, write it down. Photos, measurements, sketches, failed attempts, and “what the hell happened here?” questions are all welcome.
Start Where
You Need Help.
Some people want a structured class. Some want help with the project already sitting in front of them. Some just want to tune in and learn. Pick the route that makes sense for you.

Watch a Real Project
Happen in Real Time.
Tutorial Tuesday follows actual upholstery projects through the full process — from tools and teardown to infrastructure, padding, fabric, sewing, finishing, and all the weird decisions in between.
It is not a polished “three easy steps” version of the work. You get to see the problem solving, the changes, the mistakes, and the way a project really comes together.

Make Online Learning
Part of Your Routine.
If you are working on projects regularly, you should not have to start from scratch every time you need help.
LullCo’s online subscription is for makers who want ongoing access to learning, live support, and a place to keep asking questions as their skills and projects grow.
Come with a new project, come back with the same one, or just tune in because you want to keep learning.
Keep Learning.
Keep Making.

LIVE LEARNING

PROJECT SUPPORT
Bring questions from the work happening in your own shop,
sewing room, basement, garage, or kitchen table.
ONGOING ACCESS
Keep developing your skills instead of waiting until the next
time you get completely stuck.
REPLAYS WHEN AVAILABLE

Use the Tools
You Actually Own.
One of the best parts of learning online is that you are already standing in your own workspace.
Instead of learning on our machine, our chair, or our setup and then trying to recreate it later, you can learn directly with the equipment and materials you actually use.
That means the advice can be specific to your project, your tools, your space, and the way you work.
Your Machine
Sew on the machine you actually own and learn how to work with its controls, quirks, feet, settings, and limitations.
Your Project
Point the camera at the chair, cushion, garment, quilt, or whatever else is sitting in front of you.
Your Tools
Learn how to get the most out of what you already have before assuming you need to buy something new.
Your Questions
Bring the real problems you are running into instead of hoping a prerecorded tutorial happens to answer them.
Catch the Replay.
Couldn’t make it live? Catch recent Tutorial Tuesday episodes, project sessions, and other online learning here when a replay is available.
Rewatch the parts you need, work along on your own schedule, or come back when you get stuck.
Replay availability varies by session and will always be listed before you book.
Catch up on recent upholstery projects, techniques, troubleshooting, and live demonstrations.
Revisit selected live project-support sessions when replay access is included.
Use replays as a reference while you work instead of trying to remember everything from one sitting.
