Start With What
You Want to Do.
You do not need to know the name of the class you need. Start with what you want to make, learn, fix, or get better at and we’ll help point you in the right direction.
Every Class Tells You What You Need to Know.
Before you sign up, each class listing gives you a quick look at who it is for, what you may need to bring, and how the class works. No guessing required.
Experience Level
We’ll tell you whether a class is designed for complete beginners, experienced makers, or anyone who wants to join in.
Age Guide
You’ll see who the class works best for, including all-ages classes, teen and adult offerings, and anything with a more specific age recommendation.
Materials
Every listing explains what is included and what, if anything, you should bring with you.
Class Format
One-day workshop, multi-part series, drop-in session, BYOP, virtual class, or something else — you’ll know how the learning experience is structured before you register.
Learning is better when generations share a room.
We love seeing teenagers, parents, grandparents, college students, retirees, and other learners working side by side. When a class works well across ages, we’ll say so clearly. When a particular class has a narrower age recommendation because of the tools, subject, or format, we’ll make that clear too.
Teach a Class at LullCo.
LullCo should not only be a place where people come to learn. It should be a place where makers, tradespeople, artists, craftspeople, and very specific kinds of nerds can teach what they know.
If you have a hands-on skill, process, project, or subject that would make a good class, we want to hear about it.
Pitch a Class →Useful. Creative. Weird. Specific.
- Hands-on skills and trades
- Sewing, textiles, fiber, fashion, and fabrication
- Furniture, repair, restoration, and making
- Art and creative processes people can actually try
- Short workshops, series, clubs, demonstrations, or unusual ideas
You do not need to be a traditional teacher. You do need to know your subject and care about helping people learn it.
Class Questions.
The individual class listing is always the final word, but these are the things people usually want to know first.
